Project
Management Competency Assessment (PMCA) is a measure of
an individual's capacity to function in different project management
roles, including their strengths and weaknesses. Upon completion
of the assessment, a personal developmental plan is created to address
the greatest gaps and opportunities for development.
The purpose of a Project Management Competency Assessment
is to identify areas for improvement in the individual's project
management knowledge and skills so that he or she can improve proficiency
and achieve greater project success.
Recent
studies have shown that the average organization's project management
maturity is very low and an investment in services to improve their
project management maturity by one level can have up to 440% returns
in project savings and resource optimization.
EduClear's PMCA process involves:
- individuals completing a comprehensive assessment of their
project management knowledge, skills, attitudes, experience and
training.
- analyzing the individual's results to determine current proficiency
levels compared to the desired proficiency levels
- documenting the information to identify competency gaps
- recommending improvements with a detailed report of their overall
level of project management proficiency, their areas of strength
and areas requiring improvement, and suggestions for further professional
development
For organizations, it is also possible for EduClear to:
- provide a group report that provides collated information about
the competency levels of the project managers in their organization
and suggestions for an action plan based on your goals and priorities
- provide customized training to assist you to implement any improvements
