The
field of Human Performance Technology (HPT) has developed significantly
over the past 30 years. The purpose of a Performance Analysis is
to determine the factors that are affecting the performance of the
staff in your organization and to make changes to enable staff to
perform at peek efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining employee
satisfaction.
Many
times organizations will look at poor performers and decide that
they need training, or that they simply don't have the capacity
to complete the tasks in the job. Studies have shown, however, that
the individual's knowledge, skills and capacity are the reason for
poor performance only 35% of the time. The remaining 65% of the
time, the areas for improvement are systemic.
At
EduClear, we have been performing performance analyses for several
years and helping organizations to achieve much better performance
from their employees. The performance analysis consists of interviews
with management, employees and others to identify areas for improvement.
Then we report our findings and recommendations with an action plan
for improvement. We will finish the process with assistance to manage
the implementation of the recommendations and facilitation of the
change within the organization.
